My four-and-a-half-year old granddaughter loved this book and it was nice to share a memory with her. Of course, she did not relate to the milkman and his wagon but she seemed to understand what was going on and wanted the book read again and again. The idea of the curious puppy has a timeless appeal and she loved the illustrations.
