I like the Eyewitness series of books for their clarity (and occasional wit). However this one was short on coverage, plain wrong on some points (I build wooden boats so maybe I am nitpicking), and did not seem to be written for adults.
I read through it in 30 minutes or so and have donated it next day to my local library, suggesting they put it in the kids section, for whom it is just fine. I rarely give away a book on boats - but this one was just taking up space for me.
