Comic Violence is simply a repackaged version of the 1974 Spooky Tooth release The Mirror. The tracks are sequenced differently and the artwork is radically updated; otherwise, there is nothing new about this 2000 Dressed to Kill offering. After limping through their early-'70s recording career, the band ended things on a high note with this recording, relying on eventual Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones and new vocalist Mike Patto to assist singer/keyboardist Gary Wright in creating some first-rate arena pop/rock.
