Very good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972! Used books may not include companion materials, and may have some shelf wear or limited writing. We ship orders daily and Customer Service is our top priority!
This is one of the best of Heyer's 12 mysteries. The dialogue is witty (as always), there is good humor, the mystery is very fair (it can be solved from the clues about half-way through), and the version pictured is a pleasure to read (very readable type face).
If you like classic British manor house mysteries, don't miss this one!

Another Heyer Hit
While I prefer her Regency Historical novels, Heyer's gift of fleshing out a cast of interesting characters makes her Mystery novels worth the read. Like Gallsworthy before her, every character has a personality of its own.
