Having already read Miller's biography of Teddy Roosevelt, I knew of this work and actively sought it out. This work came before the TR bio, but it's all Nathan Miller. There are many bios of FDR to choose from, so knowing Miller's style, I guessed - correctly - that this would be a good one. It's nice to read the associated history of the US and the world as it was surrounded by and inter-laced with this great man's life. Well written, colorful and an enjoyable read.
