What can I say, I love almost all of Walter Mosely's urban detective stories. Read everything that I could get my hands on at the library and then I started buying the books to keep and savor.
The characters are literally alive on the page as you read. More than a few times, I've sat reading a passage and have felt that a scene was playing out right in front of me.
