This book is a true picture book; it contains NO writing whatsoever. This would enable a child to create their imagination to how they want the story to go based on what they see in the story. The illustrations create a whimsical view point, but also very accurate to what it would be like if a child visited the beach. Kids are able to learn about the different animals on the beach and under the sea. This is an excellent book for the child to tell the story to the adult. In the class room, teachers could ask students to write their own story to the pictures and even use this in a science class to talk about all of the animals. I think I would use this book in my classroom to teach younger students (ages 5-7).

A Book with No Words!
My 6 year old son and I were just transported by this wonderful book with no words. I know, right? It was fascinating, weird , mysterious and thrilling. One studies the pictures and the pages keep turning. We were vastly entertained . What a neat book. So different and so much fun. It's one we will return to again and again.
