Seller's Description:
Near Fine in Very Good jacket. First US Edition/First Printing; A Near Fine book in a Very Good dust jacket. A well preserved copy of this anthology from the eminent apologetic; Lewis credits Macdonald for inspiring his work, saying he has not written a book that he has not quoted Macdonald. This copy is in near fine condition with only light rubbing to the spine ends and edges, a previous owner's signature to the front free paper, and a very mild age-toning to the page edges; housed in a crisp and bright very good dust jacket that shows chipping at the spine ends, rubbing and light creasing to the panel edges and corners, gentle soiling to the back panel, and a couple of tiny tears to the spine folds. Not price clipped ($1.50 intact), but appears that the front flap has been trimmed. Overall, a very presentable and collectible copy; seems to be more uncommon than the first UK edition. Not remaindered and not ex-library; will ship securely wrapped in a sturdy box.
I was hoping there would be more quotes from Macdonalds fantasy books and short stories, but they were mostly from ibid and other theological books. Nonetheless, it contains inspiring words.
