It's impossible to review the Pebbles without mentioning the Go-Gos -- their influence is all over Girls Talk, although the songs aren't nearly as clever or as inspired. Clearly the best tune on the CD, "No More Cryin'" is undeniably catchy. But most of the other songs are quite forgettable, and one wishes the band would strive for originality.
