Inspirational!

This has to be one of the most inspirational books I've ever read, and every single story that is told is fresh and a true story! What a testimony of and manifestation of the power of God's love. It will lift your spirit and cause you to believe in miracles if and know that you, too, can overcome whatever is thrown at you! I've already purchased several additional copies to give away.

Hope is on its wings, er, hooves

Wonderful book about a woman, her horses, and the little children. Each chapter tells of an animal rescued and a child brought to life through the love of these big, restored critters. Easy reading, easy tears, big hope offered in a big God who made all the creatures. Kim's faith in her God is sound and contagious. Scenes of her world in eastern Oregon are beautifully depicted.
Our book club shared this one. A woman who hates horses was blessed to see how they can be good creatures.
"Restoration of the soul" type reading.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Some parts led to tear jerking. I was amazed at the author's gift of analyzing the personality of both rider and horse. Great book.

One person can make such a difference

Hope Rising is a very touching story of how one person's dream can affect so many others in a positive way. Kim Meeder had a tragic event in her life that caused her to long to bring healing to others. She now has a small ranch where abandoned and abused horses are rehabilitated and people of all ages who are recovering from abuse or illness can come and receive healing as they work with these horses who have been through so much also.
It's such an encouraging book, it's hard to put down.
