Very Good in Good + jacket. Size: 4to-over 9.75"-12" tall; First edition hardcover in yellow paper covered boards with bumped spine ends and one barely bumped tip. Vintage bookstore sticker at foot of frt pastedn, lightly written pencil list on fep with eight of the images in the book, what page they are on and where the photo was taken or of which horse it features, some mentioned are Morgan horses. There is a feint spot over the H in Horses on title page that is transferred to the frontispiece opposite you can see in photo 2. The rest of the profusely illustrated 98pp text is tight, crisp and unmarked. Original, price-clipped dust wrapper has a horse's head portrait in a circle in center of frt panel, framed by black borders head and foot. Few repaired chips along head of frt panel, color loss and a couple small tips on rear panel, still displays well in new mylar. Over 130 drawings and photographs depict all types of saddle, harness, and draft horses as seen through the eyes of artists and photographers through the ages including Ansel Adams, Martin Munkacsi, John Rawlings, Horst, and others.
