This was a hard one to get through, I think Ms. Howard should stick to the romance novels which she does beautifully. I was determined to finish the book but was bored stiff. There was not enough intimate interaction between Knox and Nikita and too much on solving the mystery which I was not at all interested. Loved the Knox character. I have enjoyed and read most of Ms. Howard's love stories but had hard time getting interested in this one.

Is it believable?
Not a sci-fi buff in any real stretch, I STILL found myself unable to sleep without finishing. While, at times, farfetched - the plot and storyline works. The characters (while the idea of a "copy" not that believable) play well and come off making a reader root for the unlikely in this book. I could not wrap my head around the time-travel, but the characters make the story anyway. The storyline and the plot fit with the theme and thus, make the time travel less of a worry than one might expect. Recommended for the sheer novelty of the ideas provided to support the storyline. Characters that are more likeable in the sense of finding love may be a while in coming and the resulting finale' are what a reader hopes for in a true love story. I hope you take a chance on this one and enjoy with the gusto I ended with!! Take Care!
