While the book is quite far from reality, it was excellent entertainment. Well researched. The last two thirds of the book was pure excitement. Highly recommended for those who served in the Navy.

Patrick Robinson is one of the best nuclear submarine novel authors of our time. I have read all of his books and wish there were more. As other reviews have said, this book will hold you down in your seat 'till you finished. If you enjoy nuclear submarine action/adventure at its best then read Kilo Class.
