One man's experiences of living with bogeymen and his struggle, in the end, to figure out who is family and who are the real monsters. After moving into a new apartment, and starting a new life with a new job that he is determined to become a success in, a young man discovers that not only has he unwittingly agreed to share the apartment with others, but that his roommates are anything but normal. Spoken in a diary format, from our narrators perspective, not only does our intrepid narrator have to come to terms with a new life in a new home with a new job, but he now has to navigate this new life with strange roommates, a high-pressure job and a dysfunctional family. The only thing he can do is compartmentalize each of these things, because nothing could be worse that if all three were to become entwined, could it? A unique and humorous look at a ridiculous situation.
