It's photographs and outlines are done top notch. You will drool for the food on each page and want to run out and can or preserve. Many tried and true suggestions from the author that you don't find in many books. Includes: canning, curing, smoking. pate's and more. Good techniques, supply lists and clear cut info. Not just a bunch of stuff you won't use or ever make (like you find in some books.) Author KNOWS what he is doing and by reading it you are able to glean years of his experience in one reading. Will read and use again and again. DK publishing puts out another top notch title. Highly recommended.
