The fifth installment of the Codex Alera series leaves little to be desired. Butcher's masterful writing kept me on the edge of my seat and made it so I couldn't put thebook down until I had re-read it just to make sure I absorbed every detail. Truly a testament to his prowess with a pen, the style of the book differs from his work on the Dresden Files but is just a rich and satisfying. A five star fantasy!
