This is an excellent book if you are into vacuum tubes and vintage electronics. Math treatments are quite accessible without being pedantic. The section on feedback is especially good. Lots of reference material as well.

The Tube Bible
This is definitely THE book if you want to understand how to design with valves (tubes). Pity the actual condition was not as good as advetised.
