For anyone who has read the first Flashman and is thinking about maybe ready the rest of the series, don't hesitate for a moment. Royal Flash is a fantastic follow up to book one. Not only are the books entertaining, but for those who also have an interest in the History of the British Empire it is a perfect combination of fact and fiction. A great book and a great series.
