Another group seeks to find ways of tuning in to these energies as a way of growing spiritually (another word for 'dowsing' is 'divining, ' and it gives a clue as to its potential as a tool for exploring in the spiritual realms). While the title implies an emphasis on the spiritual, both reasons for using dowsing to become involved with the energies of the Earth are explored in this book. The history of our connection with the Earth is the focal point, and it looks at the past, present, and possible future uses of these little known resources that can aid the spiritual pilgrim on the path. This book will teach you how to dowse, how to use those skills to look at the energies in sacred space, and it will also give you some ideas about what you might do with them. It is important that you not only read this book, but also do the dowsing exercises that are proposed here. It is through direct experience of dowsing and the energies discussed that you will realize the veracity of the material here presented. The author uses the word 'gnowing' to describe this process.
