I am still reading this book, I'm about a third of the way through it. It is a great read, Early Christian writers and doctrines. The main difference between the Early Christians and later day Christians is simply when they were born. The message is universal and timeless.

Patrology
One of several excellent texts on patrology (writing of the ancient church fathers) this edition offers the work of Dr. Lightfooot who was widely recognized as the greatest New Testament and patristic scholar of all times.
