Outstanding mystery novel, much better than the TV series. Character background development, location descriptions, interactions between the characters are all very well done and very enjoyable reading. Really love the dialogue between Walt and Henry. Terrific insight into Native American culture. Great job of story telling.

Excellent author
While the print in this book is very small and hard to see, it was worth the trouble. This first book about Longmire is quite good.

Western Mystery
This book is the first in a series and a wonderful find. The characters are realistic and varied, the plot believable. I'm looking forward to spending more time in the future with the folks in Johnson's Absaroka County.
