Sheri S Tepper always writes wonderful novels and The Companions is no exception. A science-fiction novel with realistically crafted worlds and aliens this book also contains an extremely strong lead character and believable societies. Like all good science fiction stories this presents a convincing portrayal of a possible future whilst making the reader question modern society.
