This was a great movie based upon one of the best books I have ever read. Of course the movie leaves out a lot of stuff that was in the book, but it is an incredibly faithful cinematic rendition. There are a lot of subtitles in the movie, but it's about Afghans, so that should be expected. The Kite Runner is one of the few books that has ever made me cry. The movie is a little more upbeat, but if you love the book you will not feel at all betrayed by the movie. Once you've seen the movie you should definitely read the book to fill in some of the blanks and explain a few things. Highly recommended.

an amazing movie
I am usually into action or happy movies this movie has some action but that is not the highlight of it. i carries you with emotions. it well written story . Highly recommended!
