This book goes beyond Peter's first two books The Walk West and The Walk West 2. It gives a little more insight into some of the people Peter and Barbara met and spent time with on their walk. You get a better sense of what mainstream America REALLY is-not what the media portrays. Delightful, can't put down, and can't wait to see what's next kind of book.

Books by Peter Jenkins
Before Reading "The Road Unseen," you have to read the preceding books by Peter Jenkins to really appreciate it. The first was "Walk Across America," the second, "The Walk West" which involved Peter's wife walking with him. The road unseen is much of his wife's experience also which was not brought out in The Walk West. Very enjoyable reading.
