This was an audio version on tape, and the second tape broke. Fortunately I had read the book before and was able to listen to the last two tapes, but I could not pass it on to a friend as I had intended.

Far Fetched, but engaging
A bit far fetched (dog & wild wolf romance, bad guy setting off landslides and bombs to prove a point, traveling around so much) but it's engaging. Keeps you wondering and guessing. Not her best work, but it's good. Nice info about Search and Rescue dogs. I've read better mysteries w/ search and rescue ( scent of Murder by Cynthia Alwyn is much better read). Lots of traveling to different countries.

Far-fetched at Times
Although this is a good education about search and rescue dogs and their trrainers, I found that it was far-fetched at times because the killer even went to Taiwan to start a landslide to kill over 500 people just to make a point to her. The sexual tension between Sarah and Logan is palpable. She has trouble trusting anyone of the two-legged variety, but he eventually proves himself. There is even a love story between her dog, Monty, and an injured Wolf that they nurse back to health, if you can believe that.
