Enjoyable, learn a lesson and read a romance
I liked this book. The story is about starting over. The three main characters own houses in a neighborhood on an island in the state of Washington. Boston realizes she needs to get over the hurt and will do it in her way eventually. Andi is starting over and making changes to her life. She is still at times unsure for multiple reasons. Deanna holds onto anger and resists making changes. At times I wanted to grab her and say stop letting anger control your thoughts and make a constructive decision so you can save your family. She must be willing to change her priorities to move forward successfully.
The stories feel pretty contemporary; the ending at times seemed fast and could have been spread out. If you have time to read a nice book that will take you from highs to lows and back again to discovery of how enjoyable a new life can be, then this book is for you.
