Daniel - the hero ex-mercenary- is the darkest and most brooding of the three heroes in this series but I think that he is the most sexy and enderaring because of it. Josie - a a beautiful young woman who is unsure of her femininity as she was raised in the merc. world - grows into herself as the realtionship with Daniel grows. Really a good book.
