In view of the recent, comprehensive assault on everything environmental, this film is a cry in the dark unanswered. The principles have all passed on and the dreams continue unrealized. It's unrealistic to hope for happy endings, but it's tragic when the ending comes and the messengers of hope have all been silenced.
