' Roger Charles Louis Guillemin (1924-2024) was a French-American neuroscientist who received the National Medal of Science in 1976, and the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1977 for his work on neurohormones. Very slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers. On the blank front free-endpaper, nicely inscribed and signed by the author to Guillemin, widely considered the 'father of neuroendocrinology.
