It was purchased in 1931 by Faye G. Bennison, who remained it Vernon Kilns, and kept it open through 1958. 120 pgs w/color photos. Vernon is known for its dinnerware lines Montecito and Early California. And celebrity figurine scuptures designed by Janice Pettee, which include the likenesses of Paulette Goddard, Gary Cooper, Preston Foster, Walter Hampden, Dorothy Lamour, and Bette Davis; in this sense the history is that of World War I as well as World War II.
